Pelehonuamea, “She who shapes the sacred land,” is the fiery primordial creator of the Hawaiian islands, born of the Earth & Sky.
Pele contains within her both destruction and creation, capable of wiping out towns and forests with her passionate, unpredictable, volatile temper and leaving new life in her wake. When Pele speaks her word is final.
To her followers she lends strength, passion and protection for those seeking to let go.
This is the perfect gift for someone with a fiery passion or for your own collection as a reminder that for new things to grow, sometimes we need to leave behind what doesn't serve us.
- This is a black & white ink drawing with painted gold and water color detail on a black backdrop
